Are we truly aware of the harvest that surrounds us? Today's message challenges us to see the world through God's eyes, drawing powerful insights from Matthew 9:35-38. Jesus, our true Shepherd and King, looks upon the crowds with deep compassion, seeing them as 'harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.' This imagery, echoing Ezekiel 34, reminds us of God's promise to personally seek out and care for His flock. As followers of Christ, we're called to share in this mission, recognizing the urgency of the harvest. The fields are ripe now, not tomorrow or next year. How often do we miss opportunities to share God's love because we're waiting for the 'perfect moment'? Let's pray for workers in the harvest field, remembering that we ourselves are the answer to that prayer. God uses each of us, with our unique personalities and gifts, to reach those He has strategically placed in our lives. Are we ready to step out in faith and be part of God's mission?
